Our Story
It all began with an idea — and a woman named “Her.”
Bold, untamed, honest and unapologetically herself. She had golden dreadlocks, tattoos, a commanding stare, and a heart that was equal parts wild and kind. She saw the world a little differently and wanted to bring a touch of magic, beauty and individuality into everyday life.
That spirit became Wyld As Her.
At its heart, Wyld As Her is about strength, softness and embracing what makes us different. What began with handmade scents, shell art and creations inspired by nature has continued to evolve as our own passions have grown — leading us to one of Australia's most incredible natural treasures: Australian opal.
And honestly, we fell in love.
No two Australian opals are ever exactly the same. We are drawn to their wild flashes of colour, unusual patterns, natural shapes and even the little imperfections that give each stone its own character.
We hand-select, cut and polish many of our opals ourselves, working with stones from incredible Australian opal fields including Queensland Boulder and Koroit, through to Coober Pedy. Rather than forcing every stone into a perfect shape, we love allowing the opal to guide us — following its colour, contours and natural formation to reveal something completely individual.
That same philosophy carries through to our jewellery.
Our pieces are created around the opal, not the other way around. Set in sterling silver, each piece is designed to celebrate the stone at its centre and become something that can't simply be recreated again and again.
But Wyld As Her is more than jewellery.
